3rd ANNUAL SCIENTIFIC MEETING

It gives us great pleasure in inviting you to the 3rd Annual Scientific Meeting of the Association for Haemophilia and Allied Disorders-Asia Pacific. This will be the first an in-person annual scientific meeting of the AHAD-AP to be held on the 15th and 16 September 2023 at Chulalongkorn University Bangkok, co-hosted by the Pediatric Hematology & Oncology Division, Chulalongkorn University and in collaboration with the Thai Society of Hematology.

The scientific program will bring you the latest and the best of the scientific advances and clinical management updates in care of people with haemophilia and other similar hereditary bleeding disorders with a particular focus on what is relevant to our region. Access to treatment is also something that we will plan to address in the program.

|
The Asia-Pacific region makes up more than half of the world’s population. There are major unmet needs of people with inherited bleeding disorders. It is very important therefore that we have meeting like this to help enhance this care through engagement of the multidisciplinary team needed to provide comprehensive care.
One unique feature of our meeting is the support by AHAD-AP to the members for their travel and accommodation and we hope that this will give the opportunity for many to be able to join the meeting with minimal expenses from the pocket. Please see below for more information.

|
The following support from AHAD-AP is available for paid members.
1. Registration- Complementary
2. Travel Grant: Partial support to cover 75% of costs for travel.
The travel grant is a fixed amount and varies according to the country of origin. Please check the conference website for more details.
3. Accommodation Grant: 100 USD
As funds are limited, we urge you to also look for alternative funding sources.
